Harbor Area
The harbor has been redesigned in recent years to be beautiful and functional.
It offers new spaces and services, outdoor gyms, paths and promenades, panoramic points, event areas, sailing courses, wind and kite surfing schools, en plein air sports activities.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES ON THE FABULOUS BEACHES
Visitors can choose from a variety of beaches: the so-called “velvet beach” of Senigallia with its fine, soft sand; the rough natural beach among reeds and herons at the mouth of Cesano River, and the pebble beach in Marzocca seafront.
THE FISH MARKET
Every day the fish market renews the fishing tradition of the motor trawlers, exclusively offering local fresh fish: clams, mussels, all kinds of shellfish, mullet and cod, octopus, sardines and crabs, among many others. The market echoes with sounds, stories, and recipes handed down by fishermen from generation to generation.
THE HISTORIC FLAGS OF SENIGALLIA
The triangular flags contain squares and circles, lines, curves, drawings, and coats of arms. They all have a first name and a family name. Geometries and colors – red, yellow and blue - are alphabets, signs, references, symbols of local stories. Every flag is a tribute to an historic fishing family: Pèlanèra, Muligòn, Sparafucil, Paranza, Batècca, Milòn, Scipione l'Africano and Alfunsèt. The nicknames talk about the art of fishing, the port, and the sea. Each one is a story, a family, a boat, and a universe. These are the flags and sails of Senigallia's ancient maritime heritage.
